Learning about probability

Last month in Te Maunga, we did probability problems for a week. I learnt new vocabulary like patent and splurge. One of the games was called Way To Go and you had to flip a bottle cap to see if it was going to land on its side, happy face up or happy face down. I thought it would mostly land happy face down but I was wrong. That was my favourite game and I liked doing probability.

  1. Hi Jacinta Lee, my name is Gail and I am a year 7 student in Te Ngahere. I like this post because you added which game was your favourite of all the activities you did. I also really liked how you described what you did in this activity. I have done probability for maths before but it was a lot different compared to what you have done but it was still really fun.
How long have you been learning probability for?

  2. Hi Jacinta-Lee, my name is Jade from Te Ngahere I really like your post about probability. I enjoyed your post because you added detail in your bit of writing and also I was interesting because you added punctuation but that also made it easier for me to read. I like that way you have set it out I haven’t made something like this before I would like to. Did you have any challenges making this post? Keep up the great work.
